My name is Richard Murray. I am a Lay Reader in the Diocese of Aberdeen & Orkney assisting at St Anne’s Kemnay and All Saints, Whiterashes. Formerly a civil servant employed as a chartered surveyor. Recently a student at Sarum College, Salisbury where I completed a programme in Politics and Theology and lately was admitted to the degree of MA Theology(Christian Spirituality) by University of Wales, Lampeter.
My interest in ecospirituality has grown out of my dissertation which examined the Christian wilderness tradition to see if there were any aspects that might assist in the development of a contemporary ecological spirituality.
